OpinionThe New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, held that the prosecutor's improper impeachment of her own witness and her improper use of the impeachment material during summation, together with related errors of the court with respect to impeachment material, had the cumulative effect of depriving the defendant of his due process right to a fair trial.
