The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals stated: "The prosecutor's repeated instances of vouching in a case in which the testimony of the 'vouched' witnesses was a crucial piece of both the government's evidence and the prosecutor's argument lead us to conclude that the misconduct prejudiced [the defendant]."
