OpinionThe Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals vacated the defendant's conviction after the prosecution failed to disclose evidence that could have undermined the key witness' credibility. "The prosecutor failed to fulfill his duty to learn of and disclose favorable evidence that likely was in the possession of his lead investigating officer, and because the evidence of [the witness'] criminal history is material, we hold that the prosecutor violated [the defendant's] rights."
