OpinionFBI agent falsified a report about an informant and the prosecution failed to disclose it. The Judge criticized the "outrageous fraud" by the FBI, which was "joined in by one or more Assistant United States Attorneys." The Judge also criticized the lack of disciplinary action against the prosecutors, stated that "we are placing too readily a stamp of approval on conduct which should not be tolerated in ordinary circumstances as here." The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled no reversible error.
